POWER Privacy Statement
The Power of Professional Women is conscious that during its present or future activities, it may collect and use information provided by its members. In order to preserve the privacy rights of its members, the following principles will be applied by the Board and Management, and be enforced toward its members. POWER website visitors may need to use online registration forms to apply for POWER membership, register for meetings, and so on. The information collected in these forms is used only to register you for membership or the program specified, may be retained to advise you of future program information.
Sharing Your Personally Identifiable Information with Partners.
POWER may share Personally Identifiable Information, except for Email addresses, with POWER Partners, to provide them an opportunity to offer products or services that may be of interest to you, which helps support non-dues revenue to the association.
Opt Out / Restricted Use
Any member has the right to restrict or opt out of communicating contact information, but must advise the POWER office of his/her decision or instructions. POWER will satisfy these requests wherever possible. It may however happen that certain instructions may not be manageable by the office. In such case, no information will be released beyond the POWER office and Board of Directors.
Members are advised that joining POWER or engaging in its activities, imply the acceptance of these above-mentioned principles, especially with respect to communication beyond the member community.
